Tristan was born in 2014 and is now 6 years old. He was diagnosed with Autism and mild learning disability when he was 4 and was non-verbal till he was 3. He is now quite a little chatterbox in his own way. As a little one, Tristan loved painting right away after watching his brother and me and took to painting with his hands, feet, and sometimes his whole body! As a sensory seeker, he has been eager to try all the different kinds of art mediums offered him. He is wonderfully imaginative and he LOVES adding googly eyes to many of his images. Tristan is very confident and expressive with paint (as with everything in his life!) and loves to fill a page with color. He really likes to create characters and simple stories, and creativity for Tristan is all about play and exploration.
