Shaurya is autistic with limited verbal and communication skills and expresses himself through art. His hyperactive mind is full of ideas usually expressed in limited verbal conversations. Under the loving guidance of his grandmother, Prachi Dharadhar, Shaurya creates art that reflects his vivid imagination.

Shaurya is the grand prize winner of the PSEG Earth Day art contest on the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. 

He has also authored two books currently available on Amazon:

1. The Lonely Crow

2. Friendship

Shaurya uses his stories to convey that each one of us has value and can contribute to society in our own way. Although social interactions are different for everyone, his stories highlight that there is a basic need to connect with others and feel useful. He enjoys art so the illustrations followed naturally making it easy for children with different abilities to enjoy the story.
