Born and raised in Westchester County, New York, Meron Philo has been an artist for as long as he can remember. He was always fascinated by drawing and painting even at an early age, and quickly learned how to express himself through art. In his teenage years he began to further his studies more seriously, taking life drawing and still life classes. During this time, he began developing his own style of drawing, which he would later translate to full-color paintings in college.

Studying at SUNY Purchase's School of Art + Design was initially a challenge for Meron. Having been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome as a child, navigating campus life proved stressful at first, but he adapted to his classes, tackling every assignment with enthusiasm. His persistence culminated in graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts. He would then go on to feature his work in several exhibitions.
