Austin Jones

At the age of five, before being diagnosed with autism, Austin John Jones informed his parents that he decided to be an artist. 17 years later Jones earned a degree in Illustration and Entertainment Art at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. Jones spends his time creating art and working as an art instructor for people with special needs. In April 2019, Jones participated in his first solo art show at Sophie’s Kensington Gallery in San Diego. His work has appeared and sold in other art galleries in San Diego including La Bodega gallery in downtown San Diego and Misfit Gallery in La Jolla, Ca.

Jones spreads awareness about autism through his artwork as well as by assisting multiple non profit autism organizations. He writes blogs for the Art of Autism website and his own website. Austinjohnjones.com etsy.com/shop/AustinJohnJonesArt.

About this art, Jones says “I use art to express how I feel about the world and to show that inspires and makes a difference for me. I hope my art will make a difference for people. Change is a big factor in my life and my art is always changing and evolving.”
